Astronomical observing night, Alcalá de Guadaíra
Observing night at “La Boticaria” in Alcalá de Guadaíra with a waning crescent moon at 11.7 %, not appearing until 4:28 am. The site had a radiance of 1.99 10-9 W/cm2 at an altitude of 62 metres.
Jupiter is in southern Ophiuchus and arrived at opposition on June 10th, with an apparent magnitude of -2.57, and angular size of 46 arc seconds.
Saturn will be in opposition on July 9th, on the constellation of Sagittarius and a wonderful sight during the next few months, having an apparent magnitude of 0.1 and an angular size of 18 arc seconds on the observing night.
